This Prayer is taken from the Devotional Book: 21 Destiny Prayers- Day 6
Lord, you are my Heavenly Father, and you have always been there for me even when I could not feel your presence. You said you are the Father of the Orphan and the Defender of the Widow (Psalm 68:5). Your love for me is unconditional, and I see that in my life every day. Whenever I make mistakes, you don’t treat me with condemnation, but you correct me in love.
When the events of life and circumstances around me try to overshadow the impact of your love for me, help me not to cave in, but to fix my eyes on your love for me. Help me to see you smile over me, and when I go through trials and challenges, help me to see you are in the fire with me.
Reveal more of your love to me, and let your love be poured out through me to others. I pray that I will not focus on negative events around me, but I will look to you and see what you are doing behind the scenes. Help me to remember that you are on the throne, and you rule in the kingdom of men (Daniel 4:17). I pray that you will always rule in my affairs.
Let me experience your love every moment of the day and cover me with the rainbow of your love. I embrace you and all that you are.
I breathe in your love as I dance with you. I pray that I will always experience your love. I pray that I will share this love with those around me, and others that have not known such unconditional love in their lives in Jesus’ name.
