The Redeemer of Marriage Inheritance
“It is not good for a man to be alone. I will make him a helper who is right for him” (Gen.2:18). Those were God’s words when He started the institution of marriage. This prayer is for those trusting God for a life partner who is right for them. You may have been waiting and praying for many months or even years about this. Don’t stop praying! At the same time, ask God to show you the roadblock or the hindrance causing the delay in this area. Ask Him to also show you how to prepare for the husband/wife that He has prepared for you. If He can bring Ruth and Boaz together, He will also do it in your life.
Midnight Prayer
Scripture- Ruth 2:12 “May the LORD repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”
Heavenly Father, there is nothing impossible for you to do. You are the Redeemer of Marriage Inheritance. You alone have the power to free the captives of the mighty (Isa.49:24-25). You alone can make a path out of a dead end. You alone can create a door of escape from a closed situation. You alone can bring one out of a deep pit. You alone can release and break the chains of slavery and imprisonment. You alone can create a stream in a desert. Under your wings, I have come to take refuge and to put my trust (Ruth 2:12).
You alone, are the God of gods, the Mighty Warrior, the Ruler of the Universe, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, God of Jacob, the Glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. I bow my knees before you and I exalt your Holy Name. I stand before you now in response to the call for midnight prayer because you do great things at midnight (Acts 16:25).
You delivered Paul and Silas at midnight; You woke Boaz up at midnight to see Ruth whom you wanted him to redeem as his wife; In the parable of the Virgins, the Bridegroom arrived at midnight. Paul spoke until midnight and through Your power in him, raised Eutychus from the dead, so others around them could see that You are the All-Powerful and Living God who can raise the dead back to life at midnight. At midnight, a cry was heard in Egypt and you delivered the children of Israel out of the bondage of destiny-slavery. At midnight, I rise up to praise you, because of your righteous rules (Psalm 119:62 ESV).
Heavenly Father, just as you gave Ruth to Boaz and you sent a redeemer of marital inheritance to her in Boaz, I pray that you will bring my marriage redeemer to me who will spread his/her robe over me. You are the same God that redeemed Ruth and Naomi through Boaz when they had no hope (Ruth 1). I pray that you will reveal your chosen husband/wife to me. I humbly ask that you remove all obstacles and hindrances blocking my marital connection to my marriage redeemer. I also pray that according to your will, you will send me to my marriage inheritance redeemer so I can uncover his/her feet in humility and lay at his feet, just as Ruth did. I know that in our society and culture today, this may be different. But all I am asking for is your will for marriage and that all occultic evil covenants of celibacy and delays in this area of my divine inheritance be annulled in the name of Jesus according to the law of your Kingdom in Isaiah 28:13-18.
I pray that you will wake up my husband/wife to see me and for me to see him. Let him/her cover me with his/her robe. You are the God of the midnight hour. The God of today, tomorrow, and forever more, I trust you and know that you will do it in my life and restore my marriage inheritance, in Jesus’ Mighty name.
